Tata Steel launches the first-ever fully automated Construction Service Centre in Odisha

Tata Steel inaugurated the first-ever fully automated construction service centre in Odisha.

This facility, spanning across 11 acres in Tangi, Cuttack, has been created in partnership with Sagar Business Private Limited, a channel partner of Tata Steel, the company said in a statement on Sunday.

Equipped with state-of-the-art automatic manufacturing facilities, the centre has a 3000 TPM capacity to produce customized Cut & Bend rebars, Coupler threading, and Welded Wire Mesh.

Ashish Anupam, Chairperson, Marketing & Sales, Long Products, Tata Steel, inaugurated the centre.

The event was followed by a customer meet in Bhubaneswar, which was attended by around sixty customers from infrastructure, housing, and industrial sectors along with Tata Steel executives and members from the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) community of Odisha.
