Sagar Business Ventures Limited (SBVL), an integrated steel engineering company, on Thursday unveiled India's first TJK superflex weldmesh manufacturing unit at its factory in Tangi in Odisha's Cuttack district.
The unit, set up in partnership with Tata Steel, will manufacture welded wire mesh, a high-strength grid material used extensively in construction, fencing, and infrastructure. Developed in collaboration with global technology leader TJK, the superflex system can manufacture meshes up to 3.3 metres wide, significantly wider than the conventional industry standard of 2.4 metres.
