The journey of Sagar Business Private Limited, started with humble origins in Bihar. The Kishorepuria family were appointed distributors for Tata Tiscon TMT rebars in the 1980s. From there, we steadily grew to more products from the TATA Steel range and progressed to become one of the largest distributors. Today, they supply all branded products of Tata Steel in Bihar which includes TMT, HR CR Flats, Wires, Structural Pipes, Sheeting, Doors etc.

In 2012, they got an opportunity to expand to Odisha for Tata TISCON TMT rebars Project sales. A B2B division, today they supply TMT bars, structural pipes (Structura), binding wire, gi wire & fencing solutions (Tata Wiron) and various other construction products. Now established in the Odisha market, Sagar Business has taken up the role to transform itself to an Integrated engineering procurement and construction company which provides end-to-end solutions in the construction space. Additionally, now they also distribute for Tata Steel in Madhya Pradesh.

Despite their humble origins, they have grown significantly and now have a team of 50 in house employees – engineers, designers, site managers, execution specialists and managers & over 400 labourers deployed at various sites across Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal. • The Rath — Steel monument, deriving its ideology from the perennial motion of the Sun and the temple architecture dedicated to it, the installation of steel 'The Rath' in Biju Patnaik Park in the state capital of Odisha draws its inspiration from the great temple, to project an image of persistent motion and continuing progress.
• The Diamond Sculpture — This sculpture is nestled in the heart of Sir Dorabjee Park in Jamshedpur. On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of Sir Dorabji Tata Park and birth anniversary of Lady Meherbai, the park was rededicated to the people of Jamshedpur by illuminating the Diamond Structure and the Pavilion.
• The ITS Gateway Structure at Tata Steel Main Plant in Jamshedpur stands as a representation of SBPL's expertise in delivering architectural masterpieces.
• The AGNI — The entire sculpture has been articulated as a flame rising from Mother Earth and reaching for the skies at Jubilee Park, Jamshedpur, exemplifies SBPL's flair for innovation and engineering finesse.

FACILITIES - Tangi — Sagar Business has its yard at Bhagatpur, Tangi, spanning 11 acres. In collaboration with Tata Steel, they unveiled a "first of its kind in India" downstream construction solutions centre in Tangi, Cuttack. The facility features modern automatic manufacturing equipment, with a capacity to produce 3000 TPM of customized cut and bend rebars, coupler threading, and welded wire mesh. This center represents a significant milestone in the construction industry, poised to revolutionize reinforcement applications to meet the growing infrastructure demand in Odisha. - Kharagpur — Sagar Business newly acquired a fabrication unit at Vidhyasagar Industrial Park, Kharagpur, which boasts of a covered workshop of 34,000 square feet and 3 acres of open fabrication area. Equipped with advanced machinery, including oxy-cutting and plasma cutting machines, a 1000MT press break, and a three-roll pre-pinch roller, SBPL ensures versatile, efficient, and top-quality fabrication solutions, emphasizing engineering excellence and innovation. - Gudiapokhari — Sagar Business Gudiapokhari yard has a vast space of 1,00,000 sqft, with a covered area of 30,000 square feet and a blasting and painting shed of 7,500 square feet. It has some of the best equipment and skills to deal with any challenge in the industry. Its sand blasting and painting unit one of the most advanced in the market. They use solid particles to cut, polish, and clean any hard surface with excellence and accuracy. No matter how complex or simple the task is, they can accomplish it. They also plan to expand our space by 50,000 square feet in the future, to provide you with even more services.
